priory of sion and da vinci code?
i was just wondering because they say jesus was just human, do they mean there is no heaven or hell?

Theologically and logically speaking, the humanity of Joshua bar Joseph of Nazareth has no impact on the existence of heaven or hell. That out of the way, the Priory of Sion that Dan Brown uses in his book is a fraud established in 1956 so a loony Frenchman could claim to be a blood descendant of J.C. The Da Vinci Code is a work of FICTION and is 7 years old already. There are tons of online websites and print articles, plus a couple documentaries, that have been produced arguing the truth or validity of the "historical facts" mentioned in the book. The "Twilight" series is fiction and there are no sparkly vampires or studly werewolves walking the Northwest US. The Harry Potter series is fiction and there are no wand-bearing wizards walking among us. Treat Dan Brown's writings as you would any fiction book. The DaVinci Code was a Novel - a book of fiction - Dan Brown wrote a great, thought provoking book using his imagination and bits and pieces of historical fact. Historical Fact - the priory of sion was created just AFTER WWII by a man whose intent was to prove that he was the royal heir to the throne of France - he falsified all the papers including the membership lists that went back to Sir Issac Newton and DaVinci. When his fraud was discovered, the priory of sion was disbanded. The Jewish faith believes in heaven and hell and also believes that Jesus is human - what you wish to believe is up to you. What Dan Brown believes isn't written about in the Da Vinci code. - again, it's a book of fiction, by definition it's all make-believe, just the same a Harry Potter, and the Wizard of Oz.
