A priory is a monastery whose superior is a Prior. Certain sects or groups of christians like the Dominicans, Augustinian Hermits, Carthusians, Carmelites, Servites, and Brothers of Mercy call their monasteries priories. You can find lots of detail in wikipedia (and you don't even have to get up from your computer).

Okay "Coconut", let's see if we can do this together. Get up from the computer, go to a bookshelf, pull out a dictionary, AND LOOK THE DAMNED WORD UP YOURSELF!!!!
