Did the Illuminati, Knights Templar, and Priory of Sion really exist?

The Knights Templars did exist. The ran afoul of King Phillip of France during the Avignon Papacy. They were disbanded by the Pope who was under King Phillip's control. The Pope didn't want to disband them. Actually the Catholic Church has always stated that the charges brought against them by Phillip seem to be spurious. The Jesuits had absolutely nothiing to do with them being dissoved as they were dissolved in the 1300s. The Jesuit order was not founded until the 1500s. See the link below http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_Templar The Priory of Sion is definitely a fictional organization.

Answer 1
All three are or were real groups...but their agendas are very unknown to the world, which is why conspiracy theories arise.
2008-03-01 22:17:48

Answer 2
if you are asking if today they are still existing, well they are not existing anymore. there are some evidences showing some sort of ancient facts about them that they exist but this was not authentic. not authentic because it was discovered that the documents of those groups were forged. but still, many conspiracy theorists still claims this various groups are still active. don't believe in these things, it might lead you to the wrong facts and not to the real ones. Have a nice day! EDIT: i forgot to say that it is their beliefs that are in question and not their real group.

Yes they all did exist but in the present you never know what I can tell you is that the knights templar were most famous of the christian military. One of their duties were to protect pilgrims.

Answer 5
The Priory of Sion is a hoax, the inventor fooled some historians into accepting his faked documents as "Proof" of his history. They accepted them because his theories supported theirs, so they did not investigate very far to see if they were genuine. (The faker was trying to prove he was the King of France!)

Another secret society that can only fail to live up to all the speculations about it, simply because literature like Da Vinci Code or Peter Berling's "Children of the Grail" series blew it up way larger than life. I have little doubt that there existed an organisation formed in the Crusades by that name. I don't quite buy the "sang real" theory for the Merowingian dynasty, mostly because of a passage in Einhard's vita of Charlemagne, meant to discredit the last Merowingian kings. Einhard describes them as long-maned barbarians ceremoniously driving an ox cart across the land. This clearly is a remnant of a wotanic rite (long hair and beard, and more likely than not the draft beasts were bulls rather than oxen since this kind of cart rite has been described by Tacitus for the Cimbrian peninsula, too, as a fertility rite - which wouldn't do with castrated bulls). Why would the Merowingians desperately uphold pagan divine descent as their royal legitimation if they could have claimed descent from Christ?

Something created to atract attentions while other real societies are acting. Orders are created to recruit soldiers. Real elite are hidden under unnamed circle where people are carefully chosen. There is a lot of informaion about it and just a minimal part is real.

Answer 4
First of all, Charlemagne was NOT a Merovingian. He was from the Carolingian bloodline, a dynasty that started from Pepin of Herstal. And in the book "The Da Vinci Code," Dan Brown explains that they kept their ancestry secret because the Church was trying to hunt them down and remove all evidence about Jesus's descendants. But nobody really knows if Jesus really had children, and since the Prieuré de Sion is a secret organization, nobody knows if it's real. The only Order that actually existed during the Crusades are the Knights Templar.

Do you mean Edgewood road ?? You need to catch the 63 (or the Diamond service 144 which goes that way at peak times) don't be put off by Frankley on the front, it still goes through Rednal along the Bristol Road (A38). Alternatively you could catch the 62 which takes you the lickey side of Rednal, but I would recommend the 63 if you want the cinema or Morrisons supermarket.

You can get the 47 from stop PG (which is very close to PC) You can get the 144 from Smallbrook Queensway (which is further away) You can get the 62 from stop PH (which is also very close to PC)

Did the REAL Priory of Sion kill two birds with one stone, discrediting Christ and the Jewish Nation by ...?
... claiming Jesus had sex with Mary Magdelane and had children? To take the heat off themselves? The Real Priory of Sion being those who think the Tribe of Benjamin is the rightful ruler of Jerusalem? Discrediting Christianity and the Jewish Nation Jesus was heir too? And they being the ones who wrote the Protocols of SION, not Zion?

No they cannot. I was just reading about that expansion yesterday. They only take books and food. Edit: The take the books and food because it's part of their AI. Just like almost any character does, they pick up real food and books to read. They don't just pull em out of their butts. :P

When you complete the quest you can just hang your stuff on the mannequin they give you. Also all the chests in the lower part are safe. not sure why they are taking your books and stuff tho. I play on the pc and am very familiar with the Construction Set and I know those things are safe. However, if you add TOO much to chest it will delete those items. Walking away(go to a new cell, like leyawiin) going back and clicking take all will restore your items.

Depends on which sibling. If my younger ones wanted to join, then I would ask them if they are sure (because it's a big responsibility) and then let them do what they want to do. If it was my older sister, I would pack her bags for her, give her $10, and push her out the door. =P

This incident has never happen to me but I hope that I would handle it as I have other things my sister has decided to do. Not to judge but to be there for her. To know that even if I don't agree that she has a right to make her own choices. The great thing about it is that even when she made some messed up choices she learned from it as well as I myself have. Becoming a monk or nun does not happen over night there is alot to getting there. Minds can change during the process and if not then maybe just maybe it was supposed to be. I just love her to the otherside what ever the outcome maybe.
